What Wool I Wear?
Clothing during the Middle Ages reflected the social status of the wearer and was a direct indication of wealth. There would be no doubt in one’s mind about picking out the nobility in any given crowd. Processed fabrics such as velvet or corduroy were costly, as were satins and other fine weaves, while flax and wool were the fibers of the common man.
No need to fret about what a 2005 CASE District VI Renaissance man or woman will be wearing in St. Louis.  Here are our recommendations for proper attire. . .
