Tailgating with brand royalty
It's a brand new world in the world of branding, but St. Louis's own
Anheuser-Busch Inc. continues to reign supreme. Year in and year out, A-B's creative staff knows how to position products - and produce great Super Bowl ads and a memorable cast of characters (Spuds McKenzie, Louie and Frank, the Real Men of Genius, and those Wazzzzzup! guys). Robert C. Lachky, executive vice president of global industry development for Anheuser-Busch, will kick off our CASE District VI tailgate party with a lively, multimedia discussion of branding, marketing and the power of story.
Lachky joined Anheuser-Busch in 1989 following a distinguished 81/2-year career at DDB Needham Worldwide in Chicago. Prior to his recent appointment as executive vice president, he was vice president for brand management and director of global brand creative. In that role, he was responsible for the worldwide marketing and award-winning advertising of the more than 40 brands that make up the company's brand portfolio. Selected as Brandweek magazine's Marketer of the Year in 2001, Lachky was also selected as one of Advertising Age's "Marketing 50" for the successful introduction of Michelob ULTRA.

District VI Star Search
Jester, Songstress, or Buffoon??? CASE VI Star Search
You already know how talented your fellow CASE members (or peers) are when it comes to advancing higher education. What you might not know is how many of them also play in a band, take to the stage, sing a mean karaoke, or grace the dance floor with more flair than Dancing with the Stars participants.
While you may not hear bawdy songs and comic banter by wild and thorny wenches or blarney from a court jester, come help us launch our CASE VI Inaugural Star Search event, complete with Master of Ceremonies, outstanding prizes and fun for everyone. Experience 15 minutes of fame or cheer on your friends and coworkers as a distinguished panel of judges determines who will be this year's CASE VI Star!
