Call for Board Nominations

Due October 3, 2011

It is time to elect members to the CASE District VI Board of Directors for service beginning July 2012.

Your input and participation is requested and encouraged. The following positions will be presented for election by electronic ballot prior to the annual meeting, to be held in conjunction with the January 2012 District VI Conference in Denver, Colorado.

• Treasurer – 2 year term
• 1 Director – 1 year term
• 2 Directors – 2 year term
• 3 Directors – 3 year term

Role of a board member

The board meets 1-2 times per year for 1 to 2 days. Conference calls are often used to conduct district business.  Each board member is assigned to committee assignments and other charges as deemed necessary by the District Chair.  The board develops district policies, conducts district business and provides CASE member services. Board members are part of a very active and working team who give at least 1-3 hours per week to conduct district business.

Deadline for submission of nominations is October 3, 2011.
