New Professional and Emerging Student Scholarships

The application deadline is October 2, 2009.

The New Professional Scholarship offers up to 5 new professionals the opportunity to attend the CASE District VI annual conference. The Emerging Student Scholarship offers up to 2 students the opportunity to attend. CASE District VI will cover conference registration ($350); awards dinner ($25); New Professionals/Emerging Leaders track ($75); and travel stipend ($400 maximum). Recipients who reside or work in or near St. Louis are not eligible for the travel stipend.

This is a value of up to $850 to the institution. The institution/organization would be responsible for other travel expenses and incidental fees not covered by the scholarship package.

New professionals and emerging students in careers in alumni relations, development, publications, public relations, and government relations are encouraged to apply for the 2010 scholarships.

New Professional Scholarships are available to advancement employees with fewer that three years experience in advancement fields. Emerging Student Scholarships are available to undergraduate or graduate students who are interested in pursuing a career in educational advancement.

The conference will offer great opportunities for scholarship recipients to learn about the many innovative initiatives taking place in their fields from a full range of workshops and professional enrichment sessions while interacting with seasoned professionals.

If you have a new employee (fewer than three years total experience in one of the above areas) or an emerging student, nominate him/her for a scholarship to the 2010 CASE District VI Conference. Previous recipients are not eligible to receive the scholarship.

By submitting this application, the sponsoring school agrees to cover all other expenses related to conference attendance.

Although not required, sponsors of the scholarship recipients are strongly encouraged to attend the conference.

Up to five full-time new professionals and two students from the District VI region will receive scholarships.
